WHAT HAPPENS AT OUR MEETINGS?
Each month we; - Sign in and recieve our monthly Newlsetter and a pattern when available.
- Our members donate original patterns that are collected and later compiled into book form for purchase
The meeting includes a variety of activities:
- Show and Tell.
- We share old and new ideas, help eachother solve knittiing problems, and answer questions.
- We have members who demonstrate techniques.
- We sometimes watch an appropriate video.
- And of course lots of chatter and refreshments.
OF SPECIAL INTEREST
- Our October meeting is an all day "sewing bee" to complete hats that are donated for Christmas giving to local charities.
- Throughout the year infant hats are knitted for 3 local hospitals.
- "Knitting for Giving" also includes, hats, mittens, scarves, "love sweaters", lap robes, and military helmet liners.
- Health care products are collected for the Pregnancy Resource Center.
